I’m a UX leader and senior individual contributor who turns complex, messy problems into clear experiences that scale and perform. I work across research, experience architecture, strategy, and design, where user needs, business goals, and technical constraints intersect.
Over the last 10+ years, I’ve been fortunate to partner with enterprise teams across finance, insurance, retail services, and media. I’m known for bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering artifacts that keep work moving, from journey maps and service blueprints to experience strategies and design-system-ready solutions.
When I’m not working, I’m outside mountain or gravel biking, hiking, kayaking, and exploring with my wife in our camper, especially around Western North Carolina. Our crew includes Bixby, an 8-year-old golden retriever, and Kevin the cat.
Other things that are probably too true. My wardrobe is mostly black. I love documentaries, cars, watches, and fine-point pens. I sketch everything. I love teaching. I say “make sense?” too much. And I will absolutely get excited about a good clearance deal or a Facebook Marketplace find.
I also genuinely enjoy working with my hands and seeing things come to life, which is a nice balance to spending most days designing and discussing things that do not exist yet.
